Larry Wilson

Mr. Larry Wilson is a combat veteran who served honorably as a United States Marine for eight years during Operations Desert Shield/Storm.

 

He also served over 12 years as a P.O.S.T. Certified Police Officer and has 1755 of varied law enforcement training hours, some of which includes active shooter, electronic and physical surveillance training. The last three years of police service were as an Undercover Narcotics Agent in the metro Atlanta, GA, area.

 

Wilson has over seven years combined experience working as an International Police Advisor, Embedded Police Mentor and as a U.S. Department of State Protective Security Specialist Shift Lead in Afghanistan and Iraq.

 

He holds the following certifications and/or U.S. Department of State approved bio(s):

 

  • WPS  (Worldwide Protective Services) - U.S. Dept. of State

  • ERT (Emergency Response Team) - U.S. Dept. of State

  • TM (Training Manager) - U.S. Dept. of State

  • ITI (Integrated Training Instructor) - U.S. Dept. of State

  • FI (Firearms Instructor) - U.S. Dept. of State

  • BFFOC (Basic Field Firearms Offcier Course) - U.S. Dept. of State

  • PSSOC (Protective Security Services Operations Chief) U.S. Dept. of State

 

He also holds a current NRA Basic Pistol Instructor certification.

 

 

 

 

Steven Powers
Training Coordinator

Mr. Steven Powers started his military career in the United States Marine Corps as a 0331 machine gunner and was first stationed at Guantanamo Bay Cuba as part of the Rifle Security Company. 

 

He was then ordered to Bravo 1/9 (the walking dead) as part of their amphibious assault unit. He was then part of the 13th MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit) and the Jordanian Liberation Movement. His functions as an instructor for Machine Gun tactics earned him a Meritorious Commendation. 

 

After his Honorable Discharge, he then served as a National Guard Recruiter. His efforts earned him five Army Achievement medals, two ARCOMS, two State of Ohio Medals, and he was rated as one of the top five recruiters in the State of Ohio. 

 

His diligence and ability to aid in achieving customer goals is what makes him a vital asset to MVX Security Solutions.

Kaitlen Doyle
Chief Range Safety Officer

Ms. Doyle is a nine year veteran that began her career in the United States Navy in 2005. She has served as a Master at Arms and was first stationed in Stuttgart, Germany.

 

She spent 6 years in Germany attached to multiple commands working as an Anti-Terrorism Officer.

 

She was then sent to Coronado, California after having been screened and assessed to participate as a Female Support Technician. After successful completion of her training pipeline, she did two tours in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

 

In addition to her deployments supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, she has done two tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

Her awards include one Navy Commendation medal, two Army Commendation medals, one Army Achievement medal and the Expeditionary Warfare Device.

  • SERE Level School-Level C

  • Anti-Terrorism Officer Level II

  • CBRN Defense Course

  • Military Working Dog Handler

  • Security Reaction Force Basic

Ms. Doyle also has a current NRA Chief Range Safety Officer certification.

 

She also holds an EMT-B certification through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.

 

Her diverse training and experience is why she is a dynamic and valued member of the MVX Security Solutions team.
