Basic Shotgun Course (Course #BSGC-003)

Our shotgun training curriculum is designed to introduce the fundamentals of shotgun handling and carry you through to a proficient level. Basic shotgun training is focused on defensive skills. Shooting a shotgun is effectively training yourself to do the unnatural, and we spend a lot of time conditioning the correct habits to enable you truly master shotgun training and shooting. Train correctly and you’ll shoot well!

A shotgun is one of the most versatile firearms ever made. You can hunt, defend yourself, create standoff distance and severely limit an attackers options with this one tool. If you had only one firearm from which to choose, a shotgun is most likely your best choice. That said, learning to shoot it improperly will instill extremely bad habits very quickly. We recommend getting some shotgun training before you have to spend time unlearning the bad habits and relearning the good!
