Basic Rifle Course (Course #BRC-002)

The MVX Security Solutions Basic Rifle Course is designed to teach the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a rifle safely. The course is perfect for the new rifle owner, and serves as an introductory course for more advanced hunting or competition rifle match training. The basics of marksmanship are the lifelong building blocks for many other hunting or shooting sports. The goal of the Basic Rifle Course is to familiarize you with the correct operation and maintenance of many types of rifles, along with teaching you how to handle and shoot them safely.

Any person of good character who is not legally disqualified from possessing a rifle in the U.S. can attend this class. All persons of less than 18 years of age may only take this course with their parent or with an adult guardian.

MVX Security Solutions provides all targets and literature for this course.

Advanced Rifle Course (Course #ARC-102)

MVX Security Solutions Advanced Tactical Rifle Course is a great way to learn advanced rifle skills with more commanding techniques and drills. This course progresses rapidly from firearm safety and a review of the basic and Intermediate rifle techniques into advanced skills such as Urban Tactics, Multiple Threat Analysis and Acquisition, Close Quarters Combat Techniques, and Partner Tactics. In addition, we cover Squad Responsibilities / Tactics, Movement, Moving to and Utilizing Alternate Sources of Cover while Engaging targets, Weapon Transitions (Rifle to Pistol), and Command & Communication. Shooters will be expected to utilize skills learned in a Basic and/or Intermediate Rifle Courses, such as Rapid and Tactical Reloading, Rapid Fire Drills, and Multiple Target Engagements. Throughout the day, we will provide you with individualized coaching and engage in group discussions on the practical considerations for the use of and training with your rifle and your pistol.
